This is a very well written story. I started this and Chance mostly on a whim, but before I knew it I was taking every opportunity to continue reading. This story is why I only got 5 and a half hours of sleep last night and will only get 6 tonight. Once I started I couldn't stop. It was wonderful and didn't disappoint. I look forward to looking for more of your work.

PS: InuYasha once said Hojou wasn't who he said he was (specifically after watching the edited tape of him killing Ginkotsu). Is that addressed in your sequel?

I'm kinda sad this is over. Great job with the transition from him banging the gavel. At first I like, this better not be a dream! This story will definitely benefit from a good edit, but the chapters themselves were well written & capturing. I'm off to see what else you've written.

You're right, the battle could have probably been a little better, but it served it's purpose well. The entire time they were on the ground I kept thinking 'purify his ass already! You can't fall to your death!' but that ending was...wow.

Why would he even bother using a rope? She's fairly weak & he keeps binding her up with a tentacle anyway. Wow. Gramps wasn't kidding when he said only something pure evil could have done that to a body.

I was thinking it would be Shippo yelling hold your fire until he said Miroku was coming, but I still am holding onto it being Shippo. She might die, but at least she has a great chance of taking him with her.

I'm hoping she held out on screaming as long as she could again. South was so brave running out like that.

I really enjoyed some of your word choices in this chapter. I was silently cheering when they confirmed my suspicion about the weapons reacting to holy power. Speaking of, when is her aunt going to arrive?
