Awww, this was such a cute chapter! I really like Legolas' older brother Gelir! He's kind of gruff with Legolas but he really does love his little brother.

Like when Legolas fell from the tree and he caught him. Oh, but I do love the fact that he dropped him as soon as Darthol made his presence known. Hehe, I guess he doesn't like to show his soft side which I find oddly endearing (kind of reminds me of Thranduil).

And, of course, when the baby elk was born and he even let Legolas come closer and cover him. Awww, Legolas is so lucky to have such brothers.

Do update soon! I love this story! I want to see more of Legolas' brothers and his adventures with them.

Oh I completely LOVE this fic. This side of the story is generally less explored. :) do write more.

Sometimes when writers try to portray the childhood of LOTR characters, the elegant vocabulary and beautiful aura of Middle Earth go down to nothing. You've very definitely kept the feel of Tolkien's world, weaving it together perfectly with lighter and happier times.
