I had a friend recommend this story to me and I'm glad I read it. It was refreshing compared to a lot of things I've read lately. Wonderful work.

I've read this a half a dozen times and every time I read it I think I've reviewed. I just realised I never have which is ridiculous because I adore this story! I love you've woven it all together, how you e taken the time travel trope and twisted it so that Fili and Kili discover their fate rather than sending someone back to change things. I can only aspire to you skill with words and imagery, and I keep coming back to this purely because you manage to pull so many emotions from me in such a short space.

I rarely review a fic; generally only when it's truly touched me.

This story has in turn brought me to tears, made me laugh, made me gasp, and feel every emotion in between. I love your writing style; I love your characterization and I love the way you plotted this story. I'll be rereading it soon.

Love this story! A refreshing step away from the usual romance stories involving Thorin, Fili and Kili. Loved how they took control of their own fates and how they pressed onward toward that which was right for others, despite the difficulty. It is well written and thought out. You made clear that stubbornness is not always a bad thing when pointed in the right direction.

Time travel stories are usually contrived, disasters, or marysues, not this story, though. This is truly wonderfully written, plotted and characterized. You gave us a nice mix of angst, humour, and adventure. I really loved how you wrote Thorin, Fili and especially Kili.

I can see myself reading and enjoying it multiple times, thank you.

I loved this! I think I cried at one point, laughed on many occasions, and thoroughly enjoyed this story! I will definitely be reading this one over and over again.
