Reviews for Jericho
PastOneonta chapter 1 . 1/24/2018
This was lovely, a very accurate portrayal of Emma. And the pirate in his full pirate regalia, there for her every step of the way. Thanks for writing, everything you have written in this fandom has been excellent and appreciated.
Laser Lance 720 chapter 1 . 6/12/2017
The ability you showed on capturing such amazing displaces of imagery, is that of a true master. Like, I want to write a thousand words praising you for this, but anything I can think of to do so of pales in comparison to the astounding beauty that is this piece. Every word was dripping in pure, untainted emotion and I read each sentence twice to ensure that I was able to savor all the beauty.
I will admit the line 'like a Disney World cast member escapee' is probably the best line I've come across on this site. It was golden.
Kina Kalamari chapter 1 . 8/2/2015
Holy crow. That was absolutely, brilliantly, stunningly, deeply beautiful. Character introspection might not involve a lot of action, but it can be one of my favorite things to read when it's done right, which this definitely was.

Also, "the most complicated family tree since Oedipus" made me chuckle. It's so true.
Swa-Sa Masou chapter 1 . 5/25/2015
Cute story!
I love the description of the steps, "squeaked like kittens being trampled."
Great wording!
Guest chapter 1 . 1/19/2015
The metaphor about people giving emma lock picks but hook being the one to show her she had the keys all along is THE best description of the CS relationship I have ever read. You're amazing
Reader chapter 1 . 9/6/2014
You are a wicked, wicked writer. In the very best possible ways. This right here is probably best summary of Emma Swan one can possibly create. It's about everything that she is and one of the most honest ways to describe Neal's and her relationships. And then every other relationship beyond that. Even to the point she felt selfish and ungrateful when admitting she still felt an orphan. And the way you write! The description of the house and in the end, of her personal prison (as well as just about everything else)... It's closest thing to perfection I can imagine. Thank you so much, it really, really moved me. Thank you for sharing.
TashaRose chapter 1 . 7/13/2014
Excellent analogy for that title. Nice work.
LindsaylovesPacey chapter 1 . 6/6/2014
Awesome story! I love the way you briefly state the background (aka Season one - three) instead of dragging it out. I understand you might have readers who haven't watched OUAT...but it gets boring when writers "copy" the back story. You gave it your own personal twist and made interesting. Hope to read more Captain Swan from you!
unbrokensaviorwithperfecthair chapter 1 . 6/5/2014
Oh. My. God. I'm speechless at how utterly and completely amazing that was. Holy crap on a cracker. Perfect.
Foxe chapter 1 . 6/5/2014
I find myself defending Emma so much. I love her more than I've ever loved any character. I identify with her so often because of the way I grew up. I find that Emma is so much like myself and so much more than some people give her credit for that I find myself defending her as much as I would defend myself... And this is the first time I've ever read an Emma depiction that truly feels like it shows Emma as she really is. Justifies her and paints her in the light of what she's had to endure in her life. Seriously, thankyou for this, and please keep writing for Emma because you clearly understand her. xoxoxo
naiariddle chapter 1 . 6/5/2014
beautiful beautiful story. I like the title: the walls of Jericho?
