Okay maybe it's because I'm tired but your story just made me cry. Poor Aramis...
Mysteryfan17 chapter 4 . 10/2/2016
Oh they are lucky he woke and was OK because if he was further injured by their manhandling or anything that added a concussion to the drugged state, the others would be far less kind on their return, no doubt with a few more ticked off brothers in blue. Read all of them but had to put the review on this one cause it was my favorite. 10/10
GingietheSnap chapter 5 . 3/31/2016
You are a brilliant writer. I'm. reading these in 2016. You wrote them years ago. What have you been doing since? I hope your professional writer.

Oh my flipping goodness this was absolutely perfect! I loved the entire story but this last chapter, gah! It just sealed it up all nice and pretty. These four are adorable, and I absolutely love brotherly fics! Thank you for writing this! I super enjoyed all of the chapters!

geauxtigersgirl chapter 5 . 9/26/2014
After four tense chapters, this lighthearted one was a nice relief. Once again, delightful story! Thanks for sharing your time and talents with us!
geauxtigersgirl chapter 4 . 9/26/2014
This is my second favorite chapter. Loved how worried the other men were when they discovered D'Artagnan missing and then how Athos nearly vibrates with anxiety when they cannot locate him. My favorite part was when Athos realizes D'Artagnan is alive. "as Athos sagged in relief, head bowing as he rocked back on his heels for a moment before meeting d'Artagnan's bleary eyes once more." So good!
geauxtigersgirl chapter 3 . 9/26/2014
I love how Porthos saves everyone in this chapter as the earth trembled beneath him. My favorite part was the first two lines. It describes the scene in a unique way. Also loved how it was D'Artagnan who saves Portos at the end. The light banter at the end was perfect!
geauxtigersgirl chapter 2 . 9/26/2014
This was my favorite chapter. So many beautiful examples of imagery. I couldn't pick just one, so selected several. "He could still feel the heat of his life blood on his hand" and "crackling laughter of the fire.". Excellent! Also, "Athos' heart seized in his chest, panic opening up a flood gate of emotions" and finally, "weight of his little brother's life upon his shoulders.". It amplifies how much Athos cares for D'Artagnan and you can almost feel the smoke swirling around you. Superb!
geauxtigersgirl chapter 1 . 9/26/2014
I'll admit that I read this story this morning, but wanted to come experience it again and review it. I love your imagery throughout this story. You can nearly feel the apprehension Aramis is feeling. My favorite line was near the middle and is a great example of your imagery. "The dance of firelight across a long silver surface made his heart cramp as he rolled sideways and there was a whoosh of air as it sailed narrowly passed his side, where his heart had been just moments ago." Well done!
Ariel chapter 3 . 7/22/2014
Although I'd love 2 the most, I wish there would have been more to that particular chapter! The blue lips made me wonder if he needed to be resuscitated and I would've loved to see the injuries sustained by both men!
