Reviews for Oh Mary
ElleMe chapter 4 . 10/22/2015
WOW...my jaw is on the floor. These were perfect. So beautifully written, not one extraneous word, just perfect. You are so talented, and you say so much in so few lines. John's is my favorite, but god how do you even pick? Brilliant!
sonnenblumeues chapter 4 . 5/27/2015
Wow! :)
SCFrankles chapter 4 . 5/10/2015
I can back to have another look at your work, and I was thrilled to see you'd updated this.

I especially like those last two verses of Sherlock's POV, and Mrs. Hudson's last verse. And it was a great idea to have Mary's POV as well. I love the fact that while you don't excuse her actions, you always treat her fairly and sympathetically.
elbafo chapter 4 . 5/3/2015
And she deserves a new life with light and no shadows. Wonderful addition to your collection of points of view about Mary.
(There is one more POV, but I'm not too keen on seeing it: CAM's!)
Ennui Enigma chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
A dark and troubled past not quite so easily shaken off under new title
unconditional acceptance - healing

Love your conclusion... "shadows might be fading". hints of hope.

Thanks for sharing such a lovely addition to your Mary series on MapleLeafCameo's birthday!
Sendai chapter 1 . 4/30/2015
Very lovely view of Mary and John. Almost convinces me (I still have problems with her shooting Sherlock, but that's MY problem )
I enjoyed the poem and it's given me a fresh perspective. I look forward to more poems. :D
thedragonaunt chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
I do wish the shadows could fade but ACD canon does not permit it! Poor Mary!

An excellent update. :)
Book girl fan chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
Things will be okay for her.
Emma Lynch chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
She really has been a very bad girl, hasn't she? (Magnussen voice). Lovely cadence; simply capers along beautifully.
englishtutor chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
Oh, lovely job! Your rhyme and meter are, as always, impeccable; and that hopeful last stanza was perfect. Wonderful!
ShahbanouScheherazade chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
Really beautiful, and quite moving! You've really taken us into Mary's inner thoughts and emotions so wonderfully, and humanised her in the process. Very, very lovely! And I hope she's right about the shadows, though there is a wistful quality to that last line . . .

Well done indeed! :-)
MapleleafCameo chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
Thank you so much:) I love this POV -intriguing to do it this way -she addresses Mary this way as a separate person -nicely done! So many questions & hidden things with this Mary!
mattsloved1 chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
Beautifully done, Mrs. P.:-)
Arty Diane chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
That was quite an emotional ride Mary, or whatever her real name is, had in this short poem. I loved the ending and the hopeful note it ended on! :D
johnsarmylady chapter 4 . 4/30/2015
Wonderful - and I thought there were no more points of view...I forgot the obvious one!
Excellent poem, I'm sure MLC will love it.
Happy birthday M!
Happy writing Mrs P!
