Great to see Morse take advantage of his dream and enjoy the holiday...stopping by robbie's to see the family and then his last stop with laura...whete they pop a cracker together. Wonderful how it all connected~

Perfect choice to show the low point of lewis in big with his black coat and cigarette..glad he got to see robbie and laura together...coming thru a hard dark time of his life.

Our favorite spirit I am sure with her green cloak. How hard it must have been to discover Val would die and there is nothing he can do to change it.

McNutt was a great tour guide for past. Susan was a very low time, glad the Thursday were there to him.

I had never thought of max being single..but i guess he was. Morse will be the perfect for this story

Your version of the Christmas Carol with Morse, Lewis, Endeavour, and the rest is marvelous. I love your choices of ghosts, and the scenes that Morse is shown. Confession: when things at work get hectic, I take "fanfiction breaks," pulling out my phone and finding a good Robson or other story to read. Recently, this story has become my "go to" read, and it always pleases! Thank you.

I came late to this so before it's too late I want to say it's such fun and a clever and brilliant story too, full of the deepest feelings and love and it carries a message. I love all your stories - bit late in the day to say this, but I do.

Well, not a fan of A Christmas Carol but enjoyed your story very much-great job! (I thought your Endeavour was spot on, btw). Now if we can only get the princess to finish hers as well.

Nice bit with Strange and Lewis still working to protect Morse even after death. (Love Remorseful Day but hate that they pointed the finger at Morse instead of going with Dexter's novel approach.) Hmmm to the tombstone-I know Morse didn't want a service of any sort, did he allow for a stone though? Can't remember, but it would be a shame to broadcast his name on the thing if he did-but then his sister might never have understood how distressing he found the name...

Oh! Nicely done...really like her warning Morse needs to be setting a better example for Lewis...love the "He'll look to you, even after you're gone." And, of course, love the classic Hobson line-Lewis may want to think about taking her to the bouncy castle one of these days : ) Also, lol, to Hobson's 'I am a pathologist' line.
