Well, of course I loved the Vigil/Uressa section. How could I not. More holes filled. Very exciting.

The sparring! What a match, and the commentary from the bleachers was fun.

Hmmm...one tactical nuke and enough 'Aherns' worth of badassery would be wiped from the face of creation that a black hole with a serious attitude problem would be formed.

Waiting for the arrival to the citadel has been aggravating, but seeing this story as a kind of response to current IRL events has been strangely uplifting. Thanks for continuing to write this.

I kinda wonder how Vigil would react if anybody in the know actually thought to ask him HOW to free him from the geas? If Uressa can do it, surely there's steps for him as well. All geas have conditions after all.

Oh man, I really liked all the perspectives in this chapter, particularly the bits with Jack and Telanya. For such a large cast of characters you do a masterful job keeping characterization and personalities distinct and recognizable. I’ve been excited for The Return for such a long while, ever since you published the work on Shepard’s ‘specs’ years ago, and to have the time finally come is spectacular. Ever excited for more, and thanks for writing!

OMG. I love this. I've been following your stuff since the Korlus arc, and just never got around to logging back into until now to leave reviews. Plus, I already do enough writing for my sci-fi RP group so more writing ew.

That said, your stuff is just plain awesome. I gotta say, I figured the Protheans had some sort of humans subservient beneath the asari failsafe set up, but I was not expecting THAT. Freaking awesome, we finally learn what the deal is with Uressa and her predecessors, and learn what the fuck was up with the SQ at the same time, loved it.

I...might've also had a moment of sadness too when Vigil blew his top about Javik and the whole mess. God, the Inusannon were assholes of the first degree, weren't they? Keep up the amazing work, and stay safe!

Well, you've done it again. This chapter is masterful; the multiple point of views all maintaining their own unique tone and style. Further, the history of the Asari was beyond fascinating. The Protheans basically fucked with them so much that they're able to turn them off? And that would explain Miranda's idea that even the Asari don't seem to understand their own biology all that well.

Altogether, a wonderfully long and expansive chapter. As always, I eagerly await what comes next. You just made my day with this update.

The Asari history in this chapter explains so much about what is wrong with the Asari as a whole. And I thought it could not get any worse.

Got some very interesting POVs here. Really good to see the 'minor' characters getting fleshed out too. And of course, the conversation between Uressa and Vigil. Lots of info in there, and I'll probably have to read it all over again to understand it correctly.

The entire Uressa-Vigil bit was both enlightning, and emotional. Two AIs from ages past, burdened beyond what any mortal mind could handle.

The fight was great. I though Kai Leng did japanese swordfighting, not a blend of everything. Still, I liked it. I thought Grunt/Okeer was going to join in though. What happened to that? Just sad we didn't get to see it all. :(

That bit with Jack was really good. The story needed more of her, it had been too long. And the seeds are planted for Jack-Mirala, yeah.

Hmm... it seems the Garrus Love Triangle is getting closer to existence. ( ͡ ͜ʖ ͡)
