Fabulous I love this series.

Azulon referred to Zuko as his nephew in chap 6 but Zuko is his grandson.

Found this by accident but I'm so glad I did it's a great idea and an interesting take on the idea can't wait for more

I like this this! it’s not often you see a story that takes Fire Lord Azulon’s character and expands upon it. In fact, as I remember it, the man was actually kind of one dimensional in the actual series. I mean I honestly can’t remember him showing up in any other scene other than the one, so I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes. I also like the fact that you’ve made him a bit more nuanced in his character and not just simply an evil tyrant. I mean he’s still that, of course, but you know what I’m saying.

Thanks for the update! I really enjoyed it. :) Zuko asking if they were there yet made my heart melt, that turned him right back into a small child for me. Car rides? Pffttt! Nothing on ships (the longest I've been on a boat was like 30 minutes and it was a paddle boat, lol).

Oh wow! I meant to keep up with this story but somehow... didn’t. But I can’t complain because that meant I had Many Updates to enjoy! And enjoy them I did!

This was an interesting chapter! It presents some fascinating potential possibilities for this AU's version of Uncle Iroh, given that in this story's world he did not lose Lu Ten in the siege (which, btw, you described his plan for quite cleverly). That poses some real intriguing possibilities given how *much* that canon event impacted Iroh and how it shaped him going forth from that, and thus how that too impacted his relation with Zuko. I will be very interested to see what happens next with the two of them on this voyage.
