WinterAmaryllis chapter 16 . 6/27
So...

This story has a good premise and even better conflict. The notion of an extra-dimensional place where reincarnations wash away their unnecessary memories and the problems of incomplete removal is a very interesting concept. It gives a strong psychological feeling and truly displays what irrational fear and/or mental health issues clearly and strongly.

However, the story is quite “inefficient”. The problem is that it drags on a tad bit too much at times and goes no where. Not even a slow-paced story would stagnate so long in so few words/chapters.

Unless it was meant to be fixed ASAP, the overarching problem of this white space should be spread out, and not clustered into oblivion.

Next up is the problem with over-exaggeration. The story is supposed to hit the reader where it feels strange, suspenseful, and psychological. And it simply overdoes the suspense and, as a result, the effect it has on the reader kind of stings a little.

The over-exaggeration breaks the flow of the story and stresses the point of the conflict just a bit too much,

This is mainly my opinion, with some attempt at objective criticism, so please don’t go all pouty or fiery, thanks.

I really like how you write, but I feel the plot is a bit weak - the entire 16 chapters are basically Nagisa being completely and utterly dominated and traumatised by her past life - which while understandable seems not too efficient for plot development. I hope she works it out soon, and fix her extreme health issues too
Nah chapter 7 . 10/19/2019
Sigh I just got to stop reading now. Her lack of eating is literally putting herself and her teammates at risk. She’s too stupid to be a ninja and I don’t care if it’s cos she’s mentally ill. Hopefully they weed out mental illness before they get on teams and cause problems. She is now a liability and I hope her jonin Sensei fails her and she just ends up a civilian where she can do the last harm. Honestly not sure why she’s even trying to be a ninja with her mental issues.

This must be a medical issue, because I have seen this 'dont want to eat' shit before in other stories.

That said, complaining about height issues when starving yourself during your growth years pisses me off.

Great work as always! I know you mentioned that some people may be upset with the interaction between Nagisa and Genma but I enjoyed it; I thought it was realistic and necessary considering the lives they live and what they need to overcome. Shinobi can’t always be coddled all the time, right? Anyways, great job and don’t worry too much about updating it often if you can’t, take your time, you got this :)
blackcobra32 chapter 16 . 10/6/2019
This is not my type of story. 95% angst and 5% plot. Where is the planning to change things? there is no focus on jutsu which is a major part of this naruto.

This story is the LONG road of SLOWLY fixing the MC's mental issues, not about the world with many pitfalls.

it feels more like a story the author is writing to work through things in their life than a story meant to be enjoyed by a reader.

being honest, most of these type of stories i see end up abandoned because the author realizes that writing this is not helping but making things worse and they stop writing. (seen other similar stories)

best of luck

Yay! They're back and nagisa has to deal with her problems. Hopefully she comes up with a schedule!
homelybiscuit chapter 16 . 10/5/2019
Oof. I feel like Genma was really harsh with Nagisa this chapter. Like I understand why he did it, but somehow I feel like reacting to trauma with violence for the sake of making a point is probably not the greatest idea lol. A literal lifetime's of trauma and ptsd surrounding failure isn't going to go away in one night, even if Genma was to show Nagisa how much stronger he was than her 100 more times. Also, I can't really even tell if it even stuck with her with the way the chapter ended, but I guess only time will reveal that. I wonder what Madoka sensei would think about what Genma did from a Yamanaka/mental health professional standpoint? Or maybe because it's the ninja world where they're all trained killers means they have this push past it mentality that would make her agree with Genma's approach? Anyway, amazing chapter as always! I got super excited when I got the notification and rushed to read it lol. Take your time with writing and update when you get the chance, there's no need to push yourself too hard!

I’ve been so busy with school and life and ugh everything sucks so it was nice to be able to read your chapter even if it’s been posted for a while! It’s one am and I gotta be up at 5am but it felt so good to catch up and read your story! I hope things are doing okay on your end and I can’t wait to read more from you. Keep up the great work!
Lady Everest chapter 15 . 9/10/2019
This is awesome. I'm just incredibly proud of Nagisa's progress. Thank you :)
Henge Animagus chapter 15 . 7/18/2019
Thought this chapter was pretty solid. Been loving the fic so far and enjoy Nagisa’s character and her interactions with her team.
I do hope we see something from Madoka sensei’s pov regarding this whole reincarnation business. In general, reincarnation seems to be what actually happens after death in the elemental nations, so it makes sense that she would accept Nagisa’s reincarnation but it would be fun to get a little from her perspective.
Really enjoy the fic and I don’t get why others were so critical regarding the last few chapters. Tbh, I’ve enjoyed chapters 10-15 more than the previous ones. Ninja fights are supposed to be quick and deadly. Realistically, genin stand no chance against jonin. Anyways, keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to more.
Guest chapter 5 . 6/26/2019
Nagisa eats half as much as other people and then complains she isn't growing lol. I'm referencing the ramen she had with her brother where she stopped at half when he ate all of his.
pigs103 chapter 15 . 6/23/2019
Tuesdays! I feel like everything happens at the end of the week so having something to look forward to in the beginning of the week would be nice! Also would you mind possibly writing like a sentence or two at the beginning of each new chapter to recap the previous one? I, and I'm sure a lot of others, read a lot of fanfic and after awhile they start blending together and it gets difficult to remember what is happening in each fic, especially if updates are far apart. It would really help to have a small recap to jog the memory you know? As is I had to re-read this entire fic and while great I really just don't have the time to re-read every fic I start.
P1ckab0 chapter 15 . 6/23/2019
Hello! Just wanted to tell you I've really enjoyed reading Nagisa's story so far! And I love your style of writing! It makes the stort flow really well and keeps it interesting even in "downtime".

Awaiting the next update whenever it is posted!
QuietCat15 chapter 15 . 6/23/2019
