Wow! I had forgotten about this story so went back and re-read it and its amazing. My heart aches for them but I am excited to read their journey back to each other. Welcome back! You were missed. :) Loved Liv in this chapter. You captured her heartbreak and pain perfectly. The self doubt that all women who've had their partners cheat feel, questioning if he smiled for her the same way, if he was as charming, as romantic? The trust is broken and it can't be earned back until she gets her time and space. I'm glad that she's living with her sister now and he's giving her that space. A little concerned with Fitz's self-flagellation. He needs to realize that THAT is what got him in this predicament in the first place! Keeping everything in, turning to alcohol and his secretary. He needs to stop beating himself up and apologizing to Liv and start working on what is happening with him that he is so deeply insecure in his relationship with her. She deserves better than to work things out with a man who cheated on her but it is what it is and she has chosen to work things out with him so here's hoping that they do.
