Oh, this seems like a very interesting story! I really like to see more of Credence and I really do love to see this parental side of Newt. I'm very interested to see in how you're going to continue this story. The idea of an Obscurus will probably be explored a lot, and I'm very much looking forward to that, and I really hope that Newt will be able to help Credence, because I love happy endings for sad characters :) As for ideas, well, I have no idea how one would, I don't know, /cure/ an Obscurus, but I'd think that Credence would need to learn magic. And perhaps Newt can get some help from a certain Albus Dumbledore... Still, just seeing Newt introduce Credence to the wizarding world would be wonderful. Oh, and I really loved the scene in which Newt told Credence to choose his own birthday, poor boy...
Anyway, this seems like a very intriguing story, I'd really like to see more, and keep writing! !

LOVE IT!

Very sweet take on paternal!Newt and a heartbreakingly lost Credence. I love the interactions between the two, and how you've written Newt as letting Credence open up in his own time. One little note though (feel free to ignore!) is the use of a few Americanisms on Newt's part ("groceries" comes to mind). A very minor thing, obviously, but just so you're aware. (Also Dougal is a male Irish/Scottish name fwiw.) Can't wait to see the interactions between Tina and Newt! :)

What a wonderful update and the image of Dougal with Credence is beyond sweet. I will be looking forward to Tina's reaction to Credence being alive. Also wondering how he would react if he came across the other Obcurus in the case.
