I would like to see more of the other houses, most characters are from Slytherin so far.
Also, why are Lily and Sev studying all the time? After all they were always good at school and even with forgetting some of the topics most should come very easily for them. So what are they studying?

This story is quite enjoyable so far. When you skipped some of the difficult scenes in the beginning – Lily and Sev reconciling and Sev telling Lily about Harry – I was a bit worried that you would continue to leave out bits I’d like explained. But I think now it was a good choice to leave that out, I much rather read a bit of a mystery and a proper fix-it-time travel story.

And this turn from being annoyed about Vesta to hugging her was really sweet. I’m excited for the rest of your story.

well, i may come as grunting over nothing... but i feel quite antipatic toward lily... she know what severus had to go trought for her ... and yet the way her feeling are toward him are like a girl wanting her dog to stay faithful to her ... while i understand the thematic of man and woman being friend... i still find severus to be used in ther relatio ship rather than anything else ...

I think the beginning section of Severus was more vindictive than the last chapter, which rang more true to Severus’ character for me. This makes me second guess if the previous chapter was as out of character as I thought. (I do still think there should be more resentment and bitterness for marauders for a time). It reads now like Severus has bigger concerns with the slytherins and that’s taking priority for him.

I do still have an issue with Lily on this. I get her applauding Severus, but it’s still coming off as if previously, his bullying was his fault because he didn’t play ball with the bullies. That likely bothers me more because I was bullied and can’t stand it when the victim is blamed, like their approach should change, not the perpetrators. It seems Sirius is holding bullies more to account than Lily, who had always defended him in their past

I’m not sure if I hit the five reviews, but PM about looking forward to continuing? I’m still super busy with moving and work, but I should have a break from next month.

I really like how Severus is behaving here. He’s showing a lot of growth. I think it would have cost him a lot, emotionally, to help Sirius and I would have loved to feel that just a little more, maybe gritted teeth, possibly even initially stating he would sort himself out. Either way, this feels like it could be a turn around moment.

Sirius acts more mature after the fight. I would have expected more venom based on what we see in canon. That being said, I feel like his slip of the tongue paired with Severus’ response and his help later changes the dynamic of these two. This really makes me want to read more.

It kind of gives me the vibes that Severus could end up being a Marauder. If that’s a possibility at some point I think it would really change the dynamic of this story and the directions various characters might take. I’m a big fan of a RemusSeverus bromance, and while there’s no hints of that, it opens the door for it which I really like

Are the Averys marrying off a squib or looking to dump a financial sinkhole? I got nervous when Eileen mentioned he was a gambler. No job, just betting his allowance. Then they talked investments. I can see why Severus is nervous about this one. He might be looking for a new source of income/gambling funds. He's also a bigot despite his lack of magic and Eileen just agreed. Is she absorbing those beliefs or playing along because she's afraid of being alone? Her halfblood son has that "nasty" blood in him. Is she ready to devalue him because of it?
I think Severus needs to coax Sage to not rush into taking the Dark Mark. The trouble is, he might have to work on Sage's brother and convince him that delaying is a better plan. I don't know how, but Severus can come up with something. Hopefully.

I'm glad that even though Severus knows he will never marry Lily that they are still friends.
