Oh, do you leave it here? Will you ever continue this? That is so hard how Legolas fell on his first patrol. Very good description of the fighting. And I love how caring Hithon is. The scene with Thranduil is touching.

I like the Hobbit's POV's, particularly I liked Frodo 's "game" of figuring out the footsteps of his companions. I love such details.
I also want to hear the story behind Legolas' scar.

If you ever come come back to this story, you have a reader in me! This is well written, descriptive, and interesting. Thanks for writing and posting, and I hope to find out how it ends!

I love how Thranduil is there for his son to encourage him to keep going and not give up. I like how Legolas is willing to share this story with his friends.

I am so happy I found this story! I am in love with it. It’s wonderful to get a look at Legolas’ life before the Fellowship. I love seeing him as a novice warrior. You did an amazing job writing the fighting scenes. And oh, all the wonderful feels after Legolas gets grievously injured. :) I love how caring and comforting Hithon is with his charge and Thranduil’s anguish seeing his son was heartbreaking. Please update when you can!

I just found your story and other then a few missed words or extra words in your sentences, this is a great story. Now you are going on a vacation for two months, so I will just have to wait for the next update which I hope will not be too long after you get back. I don't like to see Legolas hurt, but it sure does make you want to see him get better and be the fighting warrior that he is. I want to know why his scars did not heal, maybe his fea is hurting still. Only you know so we will just have to wait.

I like how you have Legolas and the others fight the orcs and have Legolas fall down the cliff with the orc he had been fighting. I'm glad that Hithon warned him in time, and I hope the healers can fix his limbs.

Agh! A cliff hanger! I do love reading this though! The movies and the books always portray Legolas as the strong and silent type. It was nice to see that though he was completely capable, he was still scared and had did his best despite the problems. The part at the end with the medical procedures had be on the edge of my seat! I could FEEL the tension among everyone. Keep up the good work!

Really like your story so far. Hope you will update soon :D I a interested in the reactions of the fellowship and how Legolas will cope with the darkness of Moria and his injury. Hopefully, telling the fellowship of his past did not stir up old memories. In a place like Moria, I can imagine that not going over very well, hurting him more than helping
