   Luxenne chapter 12 . 12/9/2018 I love the way you write! As a writer, reading your work was an absolute joy! With the being said I did find the use of paragraphs very distracting and somewhat off putting. Not sure if that was what you were going for but I just wanted to point that out. It was very satisfying seeing the gradual and believable progression of their relationship. Even though Matoba doesn't strike me as the kind of person to befriend a yokai I was able to suspend belief because of your extraordinary writing. It's been years since I've watched the anime save for a few episodes here and there so I'm not sure if this Natsume is a real character in the anime or manga. However I find it very misleading and extremely disappointing that this story didn't deal with Takashi x Seiji as the tag implies. |

| tati1 chapter 12 . 4/30/2018 this is such an amazing fic. And while it mimics the dreamlike vagueness of Natsume Yuujinchou, it has a distinctly different tone that matches better with both Matoba and a more ancient Natsume. I really enjoyed reading this! |

My heart is pained but also melts to know Natsume couldn't be seen before, this was a fact that was well hidden (unless I missed the mention or hints), and now we know that, and also it feels like we also guess at why Natsume loves hairs. And also, Matoba is shown to know how Natsume is, and his thoughts are kind of sweet? Wanting Natsume to learn unbiased, and just the comparison to the bellflowers. |

The beauty of words, being able to make so much sound like something else XD I have to wonder, again, if they know what they are doing, but both Matoba and Natsume feel genuinely oblivious about it.
