Damn. I keep hearing things about 29, but I haven't been keeping up with Rebirth (still haven't gotten through N52 yet) so I don't know exactly what happened.

Even without that context, though, I thought this was an evocative fic. Bruce showing such tenderness is certainly thought-provoking and paradoxically foreboding. So much of Dick's and Bruce's relationship is portrayed as dysfunctional father-son grimdark dichotomy and whatnot; seeing mutual affection is like a breath of fresh air.

I really enjoyed this, excellent work.
