Aww, it’s really sweet to see Sabine helping Kanan... this was a nice take on the post-Malachor comforting.

It is one of the best fanfictions that Ive read for a long long time. Realy, your writing style is amazing, the pacing is perfect, the characters are not...well, out of character and the idea - although a simple one - is realy good and hasnt been touched by anyone before ( I mean the specific bonding moment between Kanan and Sabine)

Honestly, i feel like every star wars rebels fanfic is about the connection or action between either Ezra-Sabine or Kanan-Hera (sometimes Ezra-Kanan too) and it is a pity because all the characters have different and unique ways of interacting with one another and it is the heart of the show. This is amazing. There's very little development of Kanan and Sabine's relationship in the show and in the fandom. With the exception of trials of the darksaber, we've seen almost nothing about how they interact when alone. This was really really well done, because you captured their mental states perfectly. Everyone is so perfectly in character and believable, I love it. Keep writing!

You brought back all the angst of that period... and did an impressive work at that.
S3 never gave us a real glimpse of that time, only bits and pieces of the very end, but your story gives the heartache we can only imagine.

Another great addition :) And the tiny bits of Ezra/Sabine interaction are always much appreciated by me of course lol. I love this kind of story, without a ton of action and crazy adventures. The show handles that stuff enough for me, which is fine. But I like fanfics that focus more on the in between moments and interactions between characters and their developing relationships. You write that sort of thing tremendously well.
