Reviews for Diary of a Grumpy Kid
WittyBasketcase chapter 1 . 7/15
Omg this is hilarious
stevem1 chapter 1 . 4/2
This is pretty funny. The indestructible diary being conveniently used for target practice by 2nd year Harry, who has no clue that it is evil as he rarely writes in it.
langeline chapter 1 . 6/17/2019
funny worthy crackfic.
Right What Is Wrong chapter 1 . 3/4/2019
Regarding Harry's lack of invulnerability in canon:

I take the position that HARRY isn't the Horcrux, no matter what Dumbledore believes. No, the Horcrux is his SCAR (possibly including a brain tumor behind it), and THAT is invulnerable to most anything. Harry gets Parseltongue, visions, etc. via the entire 'the piece of soul can flit in and out of the closest object' loophole Hermione cites to explain how the Horcrux could possess Ginny.

Funny oneshot.
jaythekoala chapter 1 . 12/20/2018
My hypothesis is that Harry wasn't a 'proper' Horcrux since he wasn't deliberately made one by Voldemort. It happened by chance because Voldemort's soul was already so shattered. It explains a lot of other things, like why the piece of soul wasn't able to consciously influence Harry or those around him like the locket or the diary.

It also may be an animate/inanimate thing as you suggested. (I'm personally curious as to whether and how Nagini could have been hurt while she was a Horcrux.)

Anyway, nice little story, I got a laugh out of it, and will keep reading if you decide to expand on it.
Calmzone1 chapter 1 . 11/25/2018

ThatOneGuyUpstairs chapter 1 . 8/17/2018
I think it was like that because of one or more of three things, one, most of the horcrux’s were probably already magical in some way, the artifacts of the founders for example, wouldn’t surprise me if they were enchanted to be more durable because here founders didn’t want their stuff to break. Two, horcuxs are made by splitting the soul and putting a piece in a containers that would hold them, going off what Newt has said about magical people being slightly more durable than muggles, let’s assume that having a magical soul is what causes this increase in durability, and since the pieces in the horucrux don’t have much to do, let’s assume they can direct their full attention to reinforcing their containers, or maybe Tom was such a powerful wizard that his soul, even in increasingly smaller pieces (I’m pretty sure ever time a horcrux is made it takes half of the soul present, and Tom did it seven times) they can make their containers ridiculously durable. Three (and this is the most boring explanation in my opinion) Tom realized how the horcrux’s would be easy targets for whoever knew of them, with the exceptions of Nagini, since she can defend herself, and the Journal, who’s piece of his soul is large enough, it’s sentient, and can influence not only people, but also the Basilisk, despite having no way of using his snake speech (I don’t trust myself to spell that right) because it had no body, worried that someone might find out, he decided to pile on the enchantments and defense’s to make them more durable, he only did this to Horcurx’s he knew about, which is why Harry never displayed any supernatural durability beyond what would be normal for a wizard of his age and caliber.
Guest chapter 1 . 8/14/2018
That time Tom turned page 44 of his diary into his horcrux.
