From Clint's farm to New York and then to SF and now they're heading to Germany? I hope Clint gets to rest sometime in there. How do they get food? Quinjets don't fit in drive-thru lanes.

Yay, a new chapter of this adorable story!

I never connected the "Steve accepted Clint after his brainwashing" with Clint's decision to support Steve about Bucky-but it makes so much sense! Especially at this point, 4 years after that battle, he knows what kind of man Steve is, and trusts his judgment-and it makes me love both of them even more!

I have a feeling we're going to get to see Scott in the next chapter-meaning hilarity will likely ensue-and we need that during all this craziness!

So Civil War is one of my favorite MCU movies-and I love this behind-the-scenes view of Clint's preparation to go assist his team-and the special assignment for the kiddos!

We all know what happens next, but I am looking forward to reading your spin on the war.

I was just thinking of this story earlier this week-and here's another chapter! :D

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with everything-and am glad you're doing better. College can be so stressful (actually, life in general can be so stressful), so your most important job is to take care of you-writing will happen when it happens-and from my own experience/those of some of my writer friends, it happens most naturally when you're not super stressed out and/or busy.

Ross...ugh, that man! I never saw the Hulk movies (except for maybe a made-for-TV one based on the old show that I saw in reruns as a kid), but I know enough to know he was bad news for poor Bruce (and thank goodness he was off planet when all this went down)-so none of this surprises me. I love "fill in the blank" scenes like this-and it makes sense that a meeting like this would have happened-but I never thought of it before. I always thought maybe Clint had already said he was retired, after AoU, so he didn't get hassled much-but this actually seems much more realistic. I also like that you showed his regret in signing-because even if he had unofficially retired, to sign, to sever those ties (work-wise at least) really would be a hard decision to make, and to live with. Civil War is one of my favorite MCU movies, so I'm really looking forward to seeing some of the "deleted scenes" :)

Yes, we all know that situation could have been handled better. Wanda caused the deaths of eleven people. How many would have died if Rumlow's bomb went off on the market without her there to move the explosive force? 30? 40? More? It would have killed Avengers too. Too bad we can't give the press the full story.
