So I'm finally updating my profile :)

A bit about me: I've always been a big reader, but got bitten by the writing bug when I discovered fanfiction back in 2008. I did a few oneshots, and started a full-length fic--but grad school and life pulled me away for quite awhile...in mostly good ways! Now I work in education, but since this pandemic thing happened I've been working from home--meaning, I have an extra 3 hours of my day that I would normally spend commuting--so I'm trying to use at least some of that to get back into writing...

I'm a fan of many geeky things--I fell in love with The Legend of Zelda the first time I watched my cousins play it when I was 8 years old, and have since developed some fan feels for Marvel (the movies, as I'm not familiar with the comics), Star Wars (currently watching Rebels and loving it!), and Harry Potter (proud Hufflepuff/Pukwudgie!)

I've found that my best writing comes when I follow the impressions I get from characters when I'm reading/watching them--which may be totally different than the way others see them. I try to use canon as a root, but will branch off if that's where I feel led to go. Also, character development is number one with me, both in reading and writing--but I'm still somewhat inexperienced, and now a bit rusty, so it might take me a bit to get in the swing of things.

All my stories are going to be rated PG-13, at the very most--there might be a degree of violence, but I'm very particular about language. Also, kisses and cuddles will definitely be included, but it's not going to go further--what characters do "off screen" is special-- their business, not mine :)
