I have to say, at first, I was a little dubious about this fic. I really wanted to read at least 2 or 3 chapters before having a hint of where it's going. It's quite a frequent trope in stories about Loki that he suddenly appears before the Avengers after having been detained by Thanos, so I was kind of thinking "yeeeeaaaah I don't knoooooow".

But obviously, if I had just stopped there, I wouldn't be here, would I?

Your story has something different, and if I have to name it, I think it's attention to detail. Your descriptions are really, really good, you write enough to give a very clear picture of the scene to the reader, and yet not too much, not to lose him into a maze of unecessary details. I'm thinking about, for example, Tony's growing uneasiness-then-panic when he discovers that there's someone in his lab, or the preparation for surgery at the end of the last chapter (and by the way, I know I'm easy to impress because I know next to nothing about this area, but damn, for such a situation, that was pretty realistic to me!). So yeah, your writing style is very good, and it caught my attention, so I really look forward to reading chapter 4 now!
