Ok, this chapter had so MANY good lines in it. I love Riku here so much! XD ITs hilarious. And poor Mickey. Dealing with that. XD

And that spat about killing vs KOing their opponents was classic. XD I mean... I still can't wrap my mind around Mickey being a fighter. Like, at all. lol And, apparently, neither can Riku at this point.

*Ouch* at the end, though. lol Riku was right. The mouse has an attitude. XD

This entire chapter made me burst out laughing a bunch of times. (Which can get embarrassing since I am reading this in a public place. _ ) Riku is just SO sardonic. XD This is very entertaining.

Also have to say I love the Riku/Kairi spin you have in here, too. I haven't actually reached the end of KH1 yet, so I don't know what happens in the game, but I like how you are telling events so far.

Have you ever read the book 'You Don't Know Me' by...David Klass (I think that was his name)? Your writing style (especially when you write Riku) reminds me so much of that book.

You do such a wonderful job of capturing Riku in all of his angsty-cynicism. The angst would be enough to kill somebody if there wasn't your usual infusion of sarcasm. It makes the whole thing more entertaining and much more readable than it would be if it was just straight angst and drama.

I... I never reviewed on this chapter. O_O I have no idea why.

The blinking segment always makes me laugh. It also makes me blink wildly, just to make sure I'm not ADD.

All the tiny nuances of Mickey and Riku's relationship... the "your planet", the "because you need it", the endearments (though I doubt they'll ever really go any way but Mickey to Riku, because if you start doing it BOTH ways, we really will have "Flaming" Shadows. Bow-chika-wow-wow-NYU. *cry*); they all work together so well and balance out Riku's insane amounts of angst.

I love how tripping over your own shoes/rock can catapault into a marathon of angst/nostalgia and not, as most other people would suffer from, total embarrassment.

Hm, where do I start? I've been reading your stuff for quite awhile now, actually this story is what got me started reading fanfiction altogether, I forget where I saw it, but I got a link to your story from another website and I was immediately in love. I love your writing style, it makes me laugh out loud, and very few things do that to me, I'm usually quite quiet. I've been keeping track of this story for a long time, and you don't know how happy I am to see you return to Flaming Shadows! I think I almost cried, lol. This is one of my all time favorite stories, even after I've read many more, I even printed out all the chapters so I could take them to school with me and reread them. XD I think I've reread it at least seven times now. I even got my friend hooked on it too, we share inside jokes about this story and people look at us funny. :) The most common ones we use are the waterfall part and reciting the part where riku watches the flushing toilet, lol. We know those lines by heart, my printout I made of the chapters are now curling at the edges with use and have coffee stains on them. X3 I can't wait to see how you'll change the chapters, but it saddens me slightly that I'll have to wait for you to elaborate on the parts that you haven't gotten to yet. Right now I'm rereading Repercussions of Femininity and I will write a review for that too. :) You'll be seeing me around and I promise I will leave a more specific review next time, but it's 2 right now and I'm going to go to bed soon, so if you see any typos, ignore them. This is wonderfully irreverent. I love it! The eyeball scene very nearly made me laugh out loud; I had to will myself to a closed-mouth chortle(I've always wanted to chortle) to keep water from spraying everywhere. Hope the revamping goes well.

I still love this story, and it's even better now that you're reworking it and fixing little things that you don't like. Your portrayal of Riku is exactly how he would be if Kingdom Hearts hadn't been made in collaborating with Disney characters... It's just hilarious, 'cause you're totally poking fun at the game's innocence the entire time, like how Mickey is always so darn perky and happy and optimistic- I sympathize with Riku. I wouldn't want to be stuck in Kingdom Hearts with that mouse either.

I remember liking this chapter when I read it the first time. The flashback was nice; it kind of provides a little insight into the relationship that the threesome had, even as kids. Sora's hilarious; he's such a dork.
