This is a very interesting story - the only thing... just what did happen to the Slytherins at the leaving feast - and did that evil git who has holding (I won't say teaching) potions classes have the dark mark on his arm? And why didn't Harry ever mention in his notes to Professor Dumbledore about Dean's continuing disappearances and his talks with Parvati and Lavender? And why didn't Harry think about looking at the Marauders Map to find out where Dean kept disappearing to? It seems to me Professor Dumbledore might want to speak with Harry about going into more details about what fellow students are doing...

Wow, Harry really needs to work on his observational skills. He must be one of the most oblivious people in the world to not figure out that it's Ginny writing to him. Good fic so far though.

You may want to tone down the clues given in the letters - it simply isn't believable that Harry wouldn't have figured out it was Ginny from this.

* Quidditch player - total of 28 possible people, fifth year quidditch players, say four to six. Fifth year who only started playing this year Ginny and *perhaps* one or two others, but unlikely.

* Hates Snape, and house would give it away - therefore most likely Gryffindor, fifth year Gryffindors ten people, fifth year quidditch players Ginny.

* Female (in writing style, vocabulary, etc).

* "I know you fairly well" limits the pool to about fifteen people, only three of whom are in fifth year - Ginny, Luna, and Colin. Only quidditch player in this group Ginny.

* Has contact with Hedwig - therefore one of the Weasleys, Grangers, or an order member. Only fifth year in the group Ginny.

In other words, for multiple reasons, the only person it could possibly be is Ginny. You might want to have Harry realise this, but 'play along'. He'd have to be a complete idiot to not have at least a strong suspicion, and I take it you don't mean him to be of sub-normal intelligence!

I just finshed chapter 10, and am simply shocked to see that your story has only 68 reviews! I would think it would have 4-500! But I'll let you know I think it's awesome!
