Oh, now THIS is rather interesting. Writing a letter to the long-past Obito. Never thought of that before...Kudos to you for being the first to my knowledge! _

Although it may be a stretch, something you could try is to use the Kakashi angle of this situation. (Let me explain.)

Some fans have often wondered exactly how much of Obito still lives on within Kakashi's mind (the Sharingan is, after all, one heck of a special eye) and some fans even hold the belief that a part of Obito's mind is still alive within Kakashi's. Other fans use Rin to ask the question "Did you let Obito cry?" whenever Yondaime died. That and the simple fact that Kakashi can't seem to control when his Sharingan eye cries, but never sheds a tear out of his own before he meets Team 7 and still hasn't to date that we know of.

Either way, the angle you could use is that Obito would (temporarily) borrow Kakashi's body and use it to write a letter in response to Sakura's, since Kakashi saw it and read it. Of course, this wouldn't happen often and you could have Obito say as such in the letter.

Anyway, this is pretty potent stuff, given that everyone nowadays seems to be writing shorts that are less than 500 words. Given how long it is, I'd say that this one was a qualified success! _

This was good. Although you might want Obito to respond to the letter in a dream instead of a written letter, that would be weird.
