You've captured Optimus perfectly! His regret, his doubt, his loyalty to his friends, weariness of the war ... just everything!

/It didn’t feel right. But that’s what being leader was all about. Making decisions for the greater good. Sacrificing friends to save the species. Doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt./

Even though he made that decision to leave Bumblebee behind, he regretted every bit of it. I wanted to cry and hug Optimus here. He always has it hard. T-T

Optimus Prime was my hero from the time I was four years old (All hail the 80s!). All of it returned with the new movie, which I adore.

The thoughts of Bumblebee and Optimus are so heartwrenching and perfect. This is a beautiful fic - and I'd love to see more from you in this fandom :-)

God, you protrayed Prime and BumbleBee so well! That scene was soo sad though, but you did an excellent job! Poor Bumblebee! I've seen the movie twice already, wanting to see it for a third time, but that scene was the saddest in the movie. (My friend was almost ready to scream and run up to the screen and punch it at that time since she loves BB to death)
