Sweet story and one that is so befitting to BJ, he is a fine outstanding father. He is meant to be with his family, was never meant to be in that mash unti. Keep writing.

There is so much to be said about this sentimental fiction, but mere words are not enough to convey the emotions going through BJ while his daughter grows up. At first when she is small, she helps him relax, enjoy the finer things in life, he is soothed by her childish innocence. As she grows into a fine teenager, he feels the raw emotion of having to deal with the eventuality of losing her. And, finally at her wedding, she must make the ultimate break from the only man she's loved in her life, her precious father. Children are a gift from God, may we treasure them always. Fathers, love your children as one day they shall depart.

Aww'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w, I know it's too late to stick in more to the disclaimer, but this story should be considered a loving tribute to the memory of Steven Curtis Chapman's five-year-old daughter, Maria Sue Chapman, who tragically died in the driveway of her own home when her teenage brother was unable to see her and accidentally ran over her with his vehicle. God be with this family! :'(

OK, you can just get out of my brain now! Another beautiful song fic featuring two characters that I, too, imagine dancing to that song. Nice touch making Henry's son(?) the groom.

For your next MASH song fic, might I suggest "This is Home" by Switchfoot, as featured on the "Prince Caspian" soundtrack? Or perhaps the final scene of "Goodbye, Farewell, Amen" to the song "Brothers Under the Sun" by Bryan Adams? I'd do the latter myself, but I already have a song fic by that title about David and Jonathan.

That was absolutely wonderful - I have tears in my eyes now. At first I thought it was going to based on the dream that BJ had where he was dancing with Peg. That would ahve been nice - but this was even better.

Beautifully written and a story that will stay with me for a very long time.
