Rye-bread chapter 1 . 4/8
This poor one returns to what he deems to be the most single exceptional KP fanstory he's ever read.

CaptainKodak has the concession on Kim / Ron 'shippiness. MrDrP (the fanwriter) was once cited on a website somewhere that keeps track of such things as the one whose fanfics most resemble episodes of the show. MattK has fashioned a Homeric epic in his Bleeding Out / Bleeding Through story arc...a KP Mahabharata / / Iliad / Odyssey / Pantheon (I get florid...apologies). And several dozen others of my acquaintance ply their avocation with various degrees of proficiency.

What you, Michael Howard, excel in is worldbuilding. And I didn't know that term until I heard it from Lindsay Ellis, YouTube film critic and onetime associate of Nostalgia Critic Doug Walker.

What do I mean? It isn't quite worldbuilding In the sense of JRR Tolkien and Middle Earth or Frank Herbert and Dune. Rather, in a single story you've taken the essential data as presented in the series...which is available to all us fanwriters... and incorporated it into the narrative in a way that I can only describe as organic, or alchemistic (to coin a word). It all fits. A lot of us try, but few pull it off like you.
Deathfire-san chapter 28 . 11/5/2017
Every once in a while in reading fanfiction, you run into something that's as good as the universe it's adding to. Stories that add color and depth and flavor around the episodes, the pages.

Much rarer, though, you find something that's even better than the source material. And when the source material is something as enjoyable and good as Kim Possible, you know you've got a real gem on your hands.

Thank you for writing this. Thank you for adding shade and texture and love to the whole series, nay, the whole relationship between Kim and Ron. Even one-line throwaway comments (the various comments about different counties, for instance) add the sort of believably that even the show never managed.

Of particular note, you've done such a masterful job with the emotional closeness, the trust, the give and take and intimate knowledge of each other's minds, it's just breathtaking.

It's a real privilege, reading this. Thank you.

P.S. I only just recently figured out that in Betty Director's story, Ron's uncle is Maxwell Smart. Golden.
Kadoria chapter 1 . 3/9/2017
This is one of my absolute favorite fan fic's and I have no idea hoe many times I've read it but I love it just as much every time I do.

Was not prepared for this oh my God
abandonedaccount47 chapter 20 . 10/3/2016
I really, really, really need to go to bed.

It's moments like this that I find myself wishing that I didn't live alone so someone could stop me from making bad decisions like reading fanfiction all night before a workday, or single-handedly eating half a tub of double chocolate fudge moosetrack ice cream by myself in a few hours.
abandonedaccount47 chapter 17 . 10/3/2016
Hey! There's no way KP would've been able to defeat Voldemort in just a few minutes, he's perpetually surrounded by death eaters and, unlike the majority of the foes Kim faces, they are all completely ready to kill. No monologues or elaborate traps, just magic, and all the physical fitness in the world isn't going to help when you're fighting an enemy who could literally incapacitate you with a thought (non-verbal spell) and kill you with a stick of wood.
abandonedaccount47 chapter 16 . 10/3/2016
Wow, creepy.
abandonedaccount47 chapter 15 . 10/3/2016

Dammit, I said only one more chapter...
abandonedaccount47 chapter 12 . 10/2/2016
I have work in less than 7 hours; work that involves handling several credit cards, work that involves making sure that the person who's traveling 1800 miles makes it to each connection and has a place to stay for when they arrive, work that involves being on the phone dealing with a program that is very fussy and run by a very greedy company where a single mistyped command can cost a client over a thousand dollars which means that my company has to pay over twice that in reparations which means getting fired, in short I have work in 7 hours that I really can't afford to be tired for.

I think I'm going to read the next chapter anyway.
abandonedaccount47 chapter 10 . 10/2/2016
