Wow- you're a fantastic writer, and this was a wonderfully enjoyable read! I genuinely like Vortica, and would love to read more with her someday. A continuation of some sort would be amazing, because now I've got a sudden need to see Thundercracker's reaction!

I loved this story. Thundercracker is one of my favorite seekers.

You've done a wonderful job and yes make a sequel about Thundercracker meets his son in person,but no tragedies involved the couple.

This last chapter is so PRECIOUS! KYAH! I hope all goes well for mother and child and that one day, TC will get to meet his son. Keep up the good work!

I will admit I'm not the only one who wished that this fic was longer when I reached the end.

This comes across to me as a perfect hybrid of a war drama and a dark coming-of-age tale. You maintain a dark, foreboding mood throughout, while still giving a trace of hope. I also praise your exploration of such a sensitive subject. As a previous reviewer noted, the Decepticons are no strangers to unethical acts. Well, most of them. The kicker you gave with Thundercracker being a skill hand-to-hand combatant was also one of the most creative I have seen. And, of course, Breakaway...

I was so used to how long the chapters were and when I got to the epilogue I didn't expect it to end so quickly, and then when I realized it really was the end I was like, "Nooo! That can't really be the end!"

enjoy to read from beginning to end. interesting perspective on thundercracker. it would be cool if you make a sequel involving TC and Breakaway meet for first time, perhaps breakaway, known for escape artist, decide to being capture on purpose by cons, then somehow TC end up being his prison guard to prevent him escape? that's my fantasy how they meet. too bad, you are currently on hiatus. oh well maybe one day you make a sequel when your life get settle down.

Wow, now that was a surprise! I confess I didn’t know about Breakaway until I played the ROTF game and read some of the IDW comics. But it’s nice to picture him under your version, with such a father ;o)

Now I wonder if TC will ever know about his son. His never ending doubts about his allegiance may acquire a new perspective.

One of the things I liked the most about your story was that ‘factions within a faction’ thing you mentioned. Of course, the Decepticons are the bad guys of the story and we expect them to be involved in… unethical actions. But once we were done with the limited spaces of the cliché, we wanted more, we wanted realistic stories that really showed all the complexity a sentient mind can have, evil or not. That, and the very good use of a character as fascinating as Thundercracker, makes this story a pleasure to read.

Oh my… It’s easy to drool for TC… but imagining him like a knight in a white and blue armour… it’s just the kind of thing that produces sighs and the increase of the inner temperature of a fangirl…

I loved the fight with Motormaster, especially Thundercracker using his sword (no pun intended… ah no, that would be another story, lol!) It always brought my attention how some Transformers used that sort of weapons when they had one very wide and deadly variety of fire weapons. But they also had an ancient tradition of close range fights. The gladiatorial matches existed for a reason, and I guess that the honour of the winner of a fight had a lot to do with how close he defeated his rival.

Man… I love Ravage, but I really wanted him to fail during his attack to Vortica and Vertices. Those girls deserved to live. I’m glad they found their wings, literally.

"They jumped! Those suicidal idiots jumped! Now I'll never get laid!" BEST line Thrust ever said, Lol!

Ah, and now the unavoidable separation of the lovebirds :o( But I’ll get to the epilogue before suffering. Great chapter, by the way!
