Actually...why didn't he learn any? They'd make great distractions for trapping people with his shadows if he could make them see fake ones coming from the wrong direction and such...
He's definitely smart enough to learn a few, based on the chuunin proctors and even the genin in the Exams having a pretty good variety of them.
I guess laziness in the present won out over having easier battles in the future.
Which seems not smart and Shikamaru like at all...leaving me back at square one.

Sasuke didn't actually kill him, it was the sickness Itachi had that finally finished him off. Although, it IS rather fishy that Shikamaru was allowed to have vengeance and achieved it with much less delay than Sasuke. Huh. Morale of the story:Don't piss Shikamaru off unless you want to be blown to pieces.

Next time, could you do a debate between some of the Naruto characters whether Gaara has a crush on Naruto or not?
