Love this story!

Very, very impressive! I couldn't stop once I started and you nailed everyone's character so well, rounding them out, making them feel so real and deep. Your writing style is also excellent, complete with descriptions, emotions, sensations, putting you right there, in the hot, dusty streets of Four Corners. You don't need to write fanfic, you could most certainly be writing your own novels any day. Excellent work! Two thumbs way up from me!

Oh the foolishness of youth. -Shakes head- I'm glad that Billy finally confessed before the guilt ate away at him completely. And I have to say that as frightening a prospect of being 'dealt with' by Josiah is, Caleb deserved everything he got from him. No riding his mare indeed. :D

Aw Ez, when will you finally learn to trust? -Sighs- So sad, luv; at least this story had a happy ending.

Maybe Chris should have had a nice little talk with Caleb and caleb's father too. Gun safety was taken VERY seriously by the men who lived by the gun. This would have not been let go too easily.

this was very good. the story seemed very real and was well written. only part that should have changed was the end. you should have left him crippled rather than have him 'magically' regain his walking abilities at the end of the story in less than a page. the last few para.s were a bit too cliche.
