That line made me break out in uncontrollable laughter the first time that I read it, and made me strangely sad for our poor old Doctor the second time that I read it. (Yes, I read it twice; it was that good.) He's much too hard on himself. I mean, looking like that? Age is just a number, baby.

Anyways, lovely story here. I'll be checking out the rest of your stuff for sure. (:

Hahaha I have a lovely smile on my face now! Of course he loves Rose, not silly Reinette. I love fics like this, that fix that particular episode in my mind. Because you know. That episode was pretty stupid. It didn't exactly fit. I mean, I don't *hate* Reinette, as such. I just hate Steven Moffat for writing it like the Doctor loved her or something, which he didn't.

I really enjoyed this! I'm a sucker for Doctor/Rose stories, but even more so when they try to answer for his actions in GitF. It was written very well and I loved the parallel thinking of both of their thoughts. My only advice for it was for there to be something dividing both POVs because I'm just weird like that. lol. Also? This, "And I'll adopt a Dalek before I admit to being jealous of Mickey Smith" was a HILARIOUS line. I loved it. Great job :D
