Hello there, I enjoyed reading it a second time very much! I thought that you portrayed the characters really well and the story was definitely canon worthy! Thanks for writing it! I would love to see Shuichi finding out about Kurama (I think the only story I read about it was one where their parents died in a crash with a demon...such a pity there are so few of them) and building a team with Masaru! Though I do wonder what exactly happened between Hibiki and the fake puppeteer.

This was an utterly fantastic story! You did so well with both the plots and the characters. It felt very natural. I’m glad you pushed through even though you said tit became a chore.

I was so confused at the start of Chapter 10! I think that was international but we went from demon world to Yusuke’s bed. I’m guessing he got knocked out? I probably read this too fast! It’s too good!

This is honestly one of the best Yu Yu Hakusho stories I have ever come across. It was astounding to me how much you could convey and how much you could make me feel in so few words at a time. I absolutely loved this perspective, looking at the Yu Yu team from an outsider's eye, and every single bit of their characters were right on point. You even managed to throw in a bit of philosophy to make me think, and that's one of the things I love best about great stories. It was small, short, and sweet, but I think that worked out best for this piece. I don't know if you plan to make a sequel, I sincerely hope you do, but even if you don't this story works perfectly as a stand-alone. Excellent work, I feel so happy to have found this.

The author's note at the end was cruel. Too cruel! NAHaS felt like an origins story for a next gen fic, one that could be awesome.. if it was ever written. But, well. Open endings are a nice way to finish stories.
Thanks for sharing this with the fans and putting the effort to finish it, even forcing yourself.

The thing with ocidental demons is, despite the origins of the word demon (spirit), they're associated with hell and as the opposite of angels. Though first experiences as horrible as his don't really help.
The arcade scene: Yen is actually a weak currency, so they'd need way more than one yen for the machine.
Keiko: I can so imagine her stuffing his bowl with veggies. XD
Ah, the nostalgia. As a sequel fic, I had some doubts. But this is such a nice fic.

I liked it! Reminded me of how much I used to love YYH. Though I must say I did miss Botan and Koenma, guess you can't fit everyone into one fic. Wonderful job with this though, I even like the little future plans you set out :)

I really enjoyed this story. The idea of centering it around the two characters that started the plot in the initial show, the direction it went as sort of a not-so-routine but not ridiculously powerful enemy popping up just for the sake of progressing the story, the writing itself.
Practise or no, this was really well written and I very much enjoyed it.
This is honestly one of the best YYH fics I've found (I ship Yusuke and keiko so it's very hard to find well written stories that are either neutral/no pairing, that pairing, or just slight hints. I prefer stories with interesting plots to mindless ships which is most of what I usually find for yyh lol), as I said very well written, very original, and not a generic "oc apprentice", "new big bad that disrupts everything and Yusuke is too weak at end of series", "blatant hieixkurama with no plot whatsoever", "Yusuke has a sister nobody knew about", .
It's very refreshing and it's nice to see so much canon used because it's very believable and can imagine it as a follow-up arc or even an ova (even though some of yyhs ovas are weird af lmao). Not that canon has to be used, but it does make stories more believable and a lot of people tend to ignore a lot of it besides character names and roles, and their stories fall apart halfway through.
Everybody was in character and the story fit well with the series. I enjoyed the little nods to everyone's personal stories. Sometimes the start of the chapter threw me off from where the last chapter ended, but reading further in I could discern exactly what was going on. The plot itself started off simple enough, went in good directions that weren't necessarily predictable, and toned down into a very nice conclusion.
I'd love to see more with it or little fillers of characters interacting, or your take on rewriting it(not a guilt thing like people tend to do, just saying I love the world you created lol); but I love how it is and ended. You did a fantastic job.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on you and future fics!
