Great fic! Nice to see some action taken on all those decisions.

You write deep and meaningful stories and these ones where McGee feels forced to leave are very sad.

I always feel sad reading these sort of stories, even whilst being amazed that McGee is still there after each horrible episode. I have read Expendable.
When I was young I trained as a nurse, a world of discipline, rules and responsibility.
I looked for what was meant to be the comedy in the show - but was shocked. I think I know what I'm going to read in these pages ...

You know, if Tim would have been thinking, he would have realized that he wasn't the only one being mistreated by Gibbs. Only difference is, Tony covers it up with pranks and jokes. Gibbs would move heaven and earth to protect and cover for Abby and even Ziva. But he wont' do the same for Tony or Tim, especially when one of HIS GIRLS caused the problem to begin with. Granted, sometimes Tony doesn't think when he pulls a prank, but unlike Abby,Ziva or Gibbs, he doesn't set out to harm someone or hurt them. If anything, Tony has been the only one that has ever gone to bat for Tim against Gibbs and Abby.

Oh, Vance, you should have been looking at Tony and Ziva, because if you would have been you would have realized that they knew nothing about it and were led to believe that Tim was the one that caused the trouble in Mexico, meaning that Abby lied to them. And once again Gibbs was protecting her instead of making her pay for her actions. At the very least Abby should have been suspended without pay and I'll bet that if Tony had known the truth he would have been getting in both Gibbs and Abby's faces over what she had done. AS he has done more than once in the past over taking Abby to task for something she had done.

Hello, smartkid 37. I was a Abby hugger for the first season than started to hate her attitude towards McGee on the second season. This hate still continues since she still didn't have an attitude change in season 12! It was funny and cute at the beginning, but it doesn't feel that way when a kind character is constantly teased, belittled, put down and abused verbally, mentally even sometimes physically( unfair headslaps, espacially by Tony) ! I am so glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks so ! I can't understand why the writers might think that such a constant abuse could be so funny, it sure wouldn't be in real life ! And I hate when people look the other way when it's her who screws up ! I don't remember how many times I wanted some other character to say the words Vance says here to Gibbs and the others to protect McGee ! As much as I still love the show and it's humor, I hate when the said humor occurs to the expense of McGee.. I agree with you, McGee is the best character in the show !
