| trufflemores chapter 1 . 9/27/2012 Bahaha. I had almost forgotten how adorably high Kurt was in this. I love that he starts off reluctant to even try the Red Bull - understandable, given how he tends to view food in general (with the exception of comfort food in times of need) - but he ends up stashing it in his bag for safekeeping later on. Santana is a delightfully bad influence on him. Her interaction with Brittany and the gang was cute; I love how she's the one that busts out the Red Bull when everyone else is ready to settle for studying without any extra supplements. And Brittany. Brittany was adorable on about ten different levels. I love how you write her, and her voice is spot-on. Not to mention this story brings back all that I love about stressbaker!Kurt. I can definitely see him going crazy in the kitchen once Quinn and the rest are out of sight and mind, and the trip to Kroger's at three in the morning didn't surprise me. Poor bb. So much energy, so few outlets. His giddiness at lunch with the rest of the Glee club was adorable. It's a shame that we've never seen Kurt drunk or high, canonically, for more than a few seconds, because if he was, then I'd want him to be as close to this as possible. All the adorable stressbaker Kurt feels. |
