Okay. I meant to review this a long time ago, but I was always lazy :P Forgive me! I've been reading this and re-reading this ever since early February; this is, simply put, one of my favorite fanfictions ever.

Amazingly well written, as well as a person who FINALLY knows how to use semicolons properly! :'D This oneshot is adorable, with little/no grammar errors, as well as wonderfully portraying the start of a beautiful friendship /SHOTDEAD It's amazing, how you managed to keep them in character. I could practically hear the lines being read out in Fang's voice and accent, although Lightning seemed rather wordy. But that's all right! It rather suited the story. I honestly kept coming back to read it at least twice a week. The way you've carved it out is really intriguing and enjoyable.

Criticism-wise, I have to say that there were one or two instances where your word choice was rather strange. The most obvious one was this part:

Lightning finally exasperates, "What? What is it! Just say it!"

Maybe you should have put something like, Lightning finally yelled out in exasperation. Considering that it's more of an emotion/feeling rather than an action, it isn't such a good idea to use it as a verb.

There's also a slight punctuation error here:

Then, "when Vanille and I woke up, we were lying on the floor. I wonder if we slept that way for 500 years. But my neck didn't feel like I did."

The "W" in "when" should be capital, although this may just be a typo.

In short, one of the best fanfics I have ever read. I love it; it's amazingly presented in a short, enjoyable package, and written with enough sarcasm and humor from Light's POV to keep one interested. Please write more FLight oneshots; I will definitely be coming back for more!

I have never played FFXIII and had no idea of these characters. And yet, this story has captured me with its cuteness. I like it. Now I think I will go and save my money for the game.
