This was a ridiculously adorable drabble. I love family fics, especially the way you wrote Marty so...not necessarily fragile, but cautious, especially facing Hetty when she knows basically everything. Really great fic.

This episode was DEFINITELY my favorite episode this season!...So far, anyway.:):P I absolutely loved the Kensi/Deeks scenes and the Deeks/Hetty scene at the end was so sweet. Hetty's so motherly towards him.:) She's kind of motherly towards Callen too but it seems to be more about friendship with them, with Deeks it seems like more of a surrogate mother/son relationship, which is so sweet.:):)

Great story.:):):) I was sure throughout the episode that he was eeither gonna put down Kensi or Hetty as his next of kin:)...and I love that she gave him her real name to use, instead of just an alias, it shows how much she cares.:)

I just have one thing to say;

That was so extremely wonderful! I think you gave an amazing, if sad, glimpse into the mind of Marty Deeks that we've been missing on the show. Hetty is such a mother, and Deeks so badly needs the good parental figure that he never had. This was a really good tag! Probably one of your best!

Well, for being rusty this sure was an excellent story!

I loved the insight into Deeks. It fits him, even if it's something we've hardly (if ever) seen on the show. It also explains why Deeks asked his next of kins question the way he did, because it was so obvious that he just wanted Hetty as a next of kin.
