I want to admit that for a brief minute there reading how Harry tried to kill himself because Lucius rejected him and how Lucius said Harry should hate him for running and pushing Harry away, I thought "this is wrong!"
Harry should want nothing to do with Lucius.
Harry's a great single dad, he's working, and has great friend support. He's over Lucius and just because Lucius finally realizes that he did love Harry and is missing out doesn't mean that Harry needs to give him any consideration. Harry could love again or he could not. He could adopt a bunch of orphans or just him and Lily. I'm over this whole returning to the abuser/rejector/inconsiderate lover scenarios.
Also, Draco's kids will carry on the Malfoy name, Harry should have kept Potter even if Lucius doesn't change his.

Awww. I almost didn't finish because the anguish I felt was so heavy that I couldn't breath. Then I decided to (wo)man up and face whatever heartbreak came my way, but then everything got better! I'm just glad that everything went right for them after all that pain.
