God, I wish you wrote for the show. This is the McGee we got while Ziva was "dead," and I could have used him sooner.

This is great. So many stories depict Tim (and Ziva) as being Tony's antagonist after Gibbs leaves and this does the exact opposite which is more appropriate, I think. Tim had always respected Tony's abilities as an agent, even if he was annoyed by the pranks. That Tim is empathetic to Tony's plight of having been dumped on was heartwarming, sad and bittersweet all rolled into one.

Love this story because it shows the beautiful friendship between Tony and Tim and Tony does not pose as a poor little scorned by his friends after leaving Gibbs. Please write more stories about the beautiful friendship of the most beautiful and cute boys CBS.

I really liked this version of when Gibbs left. I liked the fact that the team was helping Tony instead of putting him down.
