He and John seemed to have a much more healthy relationship in the fic than in the show, and it was clearly a result of Cindy and the kids. I'm always glad when John gets his family back. I always resented how TPTB arranged for John to have absolutely no family and partner in his life and everyone else got to date and have family, except Ronan, who did have romantic interests. thank you for sharing your story and keeping it posted long after the series ended.
