I love your writing and the way you get into every character's head. I like how you've connected this story to all the other ones in this verse (nice cameo of Moriarty, who I assume was Worm Boy). You wrote Mycroft so well here; everything he fears relates to Sherlock or something happening to him. You conveyed so beautifully that Mycroft loves his little brother and cares for him deeply even though he has trouble showing it. In a lot of ways, Mycroft was really Sherlock's only ally before John Watson came into the picture. You captured that amazingly here.

this was amzing and it fitted beautifully with the other story about the fathers death. the end chapter was particularly heart-breaking

This was excellent! The fears really do work depending on what time of life Mycroft (and Sherlock) was in in each chapter. And the last chapter was rather tear-inducing (which is a good thing-you got a handle on how Mycroft must've been feeling at the end of Reichenbach).
