Just finished reading Zero Hour last night. Well done! It's the right prep and cutoff for your ME3 novelization.

If it's anything to you, I encountered Fight For the Lost early this year, but wasn't able to finish it (must've stopped around Ch. 30-40, I can't remember) because of the academics and other stuff - but yep, I'm an engineer now! Anyway, I went back to reading it in November, all the way from chapter 1. Then Legacy of the Shadow Broker, then this one. Hah! I think I'm satisfied, but I'm very happy that your ME3 novelization is still ongoing. I have been a Fanfiction reader for a long time, and to be honest, there are only so few bearable stories here. With regards to Mass Effect, your story is the best. To the point that I think, everyone who has played the game should read your stories!

I've to say though, some parts lack feeling. Maybe it's just me, but there are parts where I think the emotional part could be upped a little more. For one, when the 300000~ batarians were about to be obliterated, I would expect Shepard to begin feeling the weight of THAT while on the mission. It's right there after he's back in the Normandy, but I did remember (as a player) feeling so conflicted while in the mission, which just got worse when the Admiral got into the ship. Just saying ) It's not bad at all, just my opinion. I absolutely love your stories! Thanks so much for writing them.

I enjoyed reading this. Almost as good as the game.
There is one thing: I read halfway through this chapter and it said that mirandas LIPS furrowed. (Shouldn't that be like a brow?) just saying.

I got a dark knight flashback

An epic and brilliantly paced novelization of the Arrival DLC. It was like reading a Mathew Reilly novel. A more solo adventure for Shepard but you really upped him into a one man army. Another great story and a fitting lead up into ME3. I can't wait!
