I really liked this a lot. Kudos on the family atmosphere.

I only have one small bone to pick I think and that is that somehow they still think Tony is the most vulnerable one of them all. They were all taken out and could have had anything done to them. With the exception of Steve and Bruce-who couldn't transform-Clint and Natasha are human. Trained for interrogation sure and Natasha with whatever extra they did to her in the Red Room, but all of them are vulnerable as shown by being caught and being powerless to do anything or have anything done to them. Tony survived-again-and we don't know what they wanted but he likely didn't do it at all and his main super power-his mind-managed to let himself again and them as well. Not sure any of them would have done as well. This isn't a rant or even a big criticism even as yes, Tony is a squishy human being. I'm just not convinced at all that he is the most vulnerable at all. Not to say they shouldn't help him recover and give him some TLC etc of course because yeah, he needs that. LOL

Your description of Tony's fear, for a sadist such as myself, was very satisfying.
By that, I mean it's quite rare to see such a well written description of fear and apprehension.
