Funny, sweet, and well written. I think all the characters were well portrayed. Makes me wish for some of my sister's blackberry pie. :)

This is great. I kind of subscribe to the idea that Ed is good at cooking fairly nontemperamental recipes but somewhat crap at things which require more "feeling" and less "science" (although in my head I know the two to coincide, in practice, it seems like the divide is insurpassable). I have a suspicion that he fed Al a lot of basic soups and cheese sandwiches during the years that they were on their own.

I also want to thank you for writing - finally! - a story with sensory-reacquaintance-Al! It seems like everyone wants to skip straight from the Promised Day to his time in Xing, which while cool...kind of misses one of the most major transitions of his life? Yeah. Anyway, this was great. Sweet, beautiful, well written. Thanks lots! _

I know your pain, Ed. I have successfully baked two pies with homemade crust in my entire lifetime. A few with with storebought (which I doubt is a luxury available in Amestris), and many, many more that were outright failures which eventually ended in me smushing the remains of lumpy, tough, crust-dough into some sort of cookware and just baking and eating it, forgoing pie completely.

Wow. Haha - I got a little carried away there. Clearly you have struck a nerve. XD

Very good detail. I especially like how you kept their personalities rather than changing them, and how good of a job you did of keeping them. Although it isnt part of the anime at all, it definitely feels like it is. Great job!
