Reviews for Trickster Moon
maembe13 chapter 1 . 11/29/2019
I have been reading through archetypes of "the trickster" and was super excited to come across this story. This is fantastic. I love how you wove together the myths and captured some of the other sides of "mischief". Your writing is beautiful. Keep writing.
moira hawthorne chapter 1 . 12/31/2017
that was very nicely done...
I have listen to discussions of the possibility of whether or not Loki is of similar make and model as other Tricksters... it is the same for nearly any deity around the world... similarity abound... are they all one in the same? or are humans? that we all despite our differences need the same in different ways?
cellis chapter 1 . 5/25/2015
I like your theory of a common thread to The Trickster and the way you reveal a growing realization to Thor that there is more to his brother. Thank you for including the possibility of Loki and Thor traveling outside their base culture.
Lovina Rossi-Vargas chapter 1 . 2/20/2015
Yay! Loki-is-Coyote! And others, but Coyote!
Guest chapter 1 . 9/7/2014
LOVE THIS STORY! :D
PeaceHeather chapter 1 . 9/3/2014
This was absolute perfection. Everything from Loki's handling of the children to the elder's suspicion to Thor's realization that he doesn't know his brother as well as he thought he did. I wish this had happened because then maybe the events of the movie would not have; Thor would have been less self-centered if he were more interested in getting to know Loki for real.

Freaking perfect. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Guest chapter 1 . 4/27/2014
This is brilliant! please write more, maybe of Loki interacting with different cultures? pretty please?...
Laineenhele chapter 1 . 4/4/2014
You know, I have been looking for some time now for gen fics that had a good portrayal of Loki without having much succes, but I absolutely loved this. It was symphathetic towards Loki without going WAY over the top. It feels completely canon compliant as well, which is a big plus
Ribke chapter 1 . 12/6/2013
Loved it. No more to say. Left me speechless (no, seriously- I can never talk of this story 'cuz no words of mine could ever be worthy enough to describe it xP). Potatooooo.
ftninja chapter 1 . 12/6/2013
This was beautiful. Loki's characterization and the sweet contradictions of his nature were so well written. I'm in love with your work, because it is exactly what I seek to do.

I do hope you write more one shots. I really do.
Ellie Martineau chapter 1 . 7/17/2013
No longwinded, incoherent review here. I. Love. You.

Amazing. Again.
Rachelle Lo chapter 1 . 7/1/2013
What an interesting concept. You delivered with fresh ideas and prose!
Ninjacat chapter 1 . 6/16/2013
That was a nice story. I really enjoyed the interaction between the two brothers. It's really nice to see stories like this.

The grandfather intrigued me, I was wondering if he was another deity in disguise too.

I really enjoyed the story, thanks for writing it :).
Sorrow Reminisce chapter 1 . 6/15/2013
That was such a beautifully written exploration into the persona of Loki, his relationship with Thor and Sif, the perceptions placed on him by others, his desire for acceptance even if he must go by another name in order to gain it...
This whole story came together so brilliantly. The characterisation, dialogue and story setting was excellent. I loved Loki's clever display of stratagem in the beginning, and found myself hating Sif for the way she is so quick to expect the worst from him. Thor means well and has more faith in his brother than anyone else does, but he still manages to overlook and misjudge him.
Ah poor Loki, I can see how it drove him all over the edge in the end!
You write a story and a background that people can absolutely believe in. That is fanfiction at its absolute best!
sirensbane chapter 1 . 5/27/2013
This was amazing. I loved every minute. Your writing is very good and I loved the thought of Loki, usually self-serving, taking on the persona of the Trickster God and bringing rain.
