But it was the best gift for him, and I could feel the love running through her choice, as Molly Weasley braved the Muggle world for it. Arthur's reaction was good too, stunned disbelief and then setting aside the batteries to hug her. Nice job!

Molly/Arthur is hard to make fresh, I feel, because it's so established in canon, but you did a great job! :) The second half really hit an emotional mark for me, with the batteries (especially the little bit with her knowing even Muggle money was precious), and you handled it very well. This was really cute, I love Molly and Arthur! I thought the scene where Molly ventured out into the Muggle world specifically to buy Arthur batteries was particularly sweet as well as his reaction - I think you've written their relationship in a completely believable way and I could really imagine this had happened in the books :)

AHHHH this was too adorable! The best part was her actually shopping for the batteries. I bet that sales clerk just thought, "Oh, women. They never understand our electronics." At least her cover wasn't blown! I would have died laughing if I worked there, though. You really write wonderful female characters, I must say. Your men are great, too, but god, the women you write warm my heart.

I never really thought about what Molly would have had to say to Arthur after that whole incident but what you've done here seems very likely, especially with Molly's temper. The way she apologized to him was so sweet and unique, I loved it! So, well done with canon! :)
