Nice story. I like the thought of an AU Tobias who isn’t a drunken (censored).

This was amazing. It sounded true, even though it was obviously an AU. I love how rough around the edges Severus and Eileen were. They were AU in which Eileen and Tobias loved each other, therefore Severus grew up in a happy home. But they still retained their canon characterization, which made this fic so much better. I love Tobias when he is kind towards Eileen and Severus, at least not abusive as canon alludes.

The advice made me cry. I love how Tobias approached it with his straightforwardness and brevity, and how Severus reacted to it. Severus does need to move on. 13 years of grief is enough. Lily didn't even deserve it. I get why Severus did, but I don't like Lily. It wasn't right for a best friend to abandon another just because of a word. Best friends would have stuck together no matter what ... Lily should have listened to what Severus had to say instead of clinging to her anger. It makes me so angry! I dislike Lily very much, and Severus definitely needs to move on. It is time.

I wished it was longer, but as an one shot it was perfect. I love it very much.

I think Toby gave Sev some really good advice. Canon Lily wasn't worth 13 years of mourning and I'll bet anything if she had still been alive when he died; she wouldn't have gone to his funeral or even expressed any condolences to Eileen or Toby. She's definitely the reason poor Severus ended up as a sad puppet for both Dumblebutt and Voldy. She was a shallow, self-righteous, judgmental bitch and definitely not deserving of such love! I hope Severus is really thinking hard about what his dad told him and will give moving on a try.

Good story! I liked the interaction between Tobias and Severus and Tobias' perspective on Lily. If Severus hadn't felt responsible for Lily's death he probably would have eventually moved on. Now I want to know what happened at the ball. I don't suppose you'd consider a sequel :)

I really enjoyed the interaction between Severus and Tobias and Eileen's psychic-like abilities. Even though, i've been missing Severus and Aurora interaction lately, not to mention your fics altogether. Have you left us for good? I really hope that that's not the case and to read something yours soon.
