Perfectly paced, characters well-thought out and believable, great plot with lots of varying elements that became totally harmonious with one another. The OC's were quite well done, Carter in particular, as well as Healer Jones. I also really liked how the circumstances of little Lily's birthday and subsequent care we're so well treated. (That part was very personal to me, as I lost a baby boy at about five months along, but his death was caused by his umbilical cord knotting and cutting off his blood/etc. supply.)
