Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver, it says so in Book's symbol. Thirty pieces to betray the savior of humankind, the son of god. Thirty.
River thinks maybe she should feel flattered that Jayne sold her and Simon out for a great deal more. She doesn't.
