Hello there! Chances are, if you've wandered here to my humble little profile, you actually want to know something about me. To start, my name is Molly and I'm a 23-year-old graduate student, currently working toward my master's in history. Free time has been something of a rare commodity the last several years, so writing (at least non-academic writing) has unfortunately taken a backseat to the demands of my schoolwork. But I hope to begin writing again because I do miss it.

My current project is one I actually began several years ago and just recently picked back up. It's a regency-era retelling (a word I use somewhat loosely) of Phantom of the Opera, and I'm actually quite excited about it. As an historian, however, I'm also quite nervous to share it as I'm not entirely familiar with the social and cultural history of the era and I have only done minimal research thus far. Nevertheless, with any luck, I will actually finish this project.

Constructive criticism is always welcome as I am always looking to grow as a writer.
