I stand up for what's right, even if it's not easy. I wish to write stories that are thought provoking, short, and make you question, even if briefly, you're own thoughts. If I can achieve that, then I accomplished something, if not, then it is me just working on my writing skills, and you may move along to another story that interests you more. My interests, I like fiction, history, well-made cartoons, action movies, some reality TV, some rom-coms, some sitcoms, anime, and the occasional thriller with a great storyline. Horror tends to be a dull bore, especially when it's always the same things over and over again with the blood, jump scares, pointless plots, stupid moves, etc., etc. This is only a few of my interests. I don't think people should really care what others do unless it impacts them personally, whether that be online, in real life or whatever. (Take that however you want.) Interpretation is always a funny thing and I can't help but laugh at it sometimes. It should also be noted, since I said I fight for what's right, I'm into law and politics. This means I like to get into the nitty gritty details of things, so beware of that. (so if you find I don't respond to a pm, you're blocked, or I do respond, it's because I have looked into everything, and well as stated, interpretation is everything and I don't need to explain much further than that.) This is just a heads up to any lingering occupant of the site who needs a refresher. I also love to give actual critical reviews about works I have read. You can call me a true critic, as I like to look at other's works in regards to their plots, themes used, political tools, characters' developments, grammar, spelling, and formatting (along with any other thing they may me to look at such as plot twists, hidden messages, double meanings, etc.) I wish to give real and constructive feedback that is helpful and actually useful for the author whether this is just a hobby, or a potential life time career goal choice for them. I know many young artists start off here, and I can proudly say that when I went to college doing a few off hand jobs here and there to make-ends meet, I was lucky enough to work in book stores, and then work briefly in a publishing company. It was amazing and the best experience, however I know how to give feedback. I also know when people are in this just to have fun (like "shit and giggles as one of my friends would say"), in it for a hobby to destress, and in it to take a step towards their real goal. I want to provide everyone the equal opportunity of a fair review, so I give them that. Also I don't review all the stories I read. Some I do, some I don't. It truthfully depends on not only my mood, but also if the story moves me enough to. I can like a story, favorite, but not review it. It all depends on the story itself. I know artists always want to hear they are doing great, but I don't want to shove sunshine up everyone's butt. I will point out when there are mistakes, when things don't make sense, and when the character's are lacking development, or the plot is. I want author's to know their reader's care- or that I do at least- which is why when I review you know it is out helpfulness not only for your story, but out of care. (and all my reviews are out of complete helpfulness for your story, especially if it to tell you to keep developing as writer, keep the story going and not worry about things.) I care about the author's integrity, voice, and what they have to offer, over all else, and if that bother's people than it bother's people. You read the first sentence I stand for what's right, so I stand for the voice of the author. I also have a thing for tea, so don't mind that in my reviews, as it's just my thing. It's an inside joke with a few colleagues of mine, who are helping me with something. I hope this gives about how I am not only as reviewer, but how I will be a writer, and how I will be on this site. I offer that others learn to be more accepting of newer ideas when it comes to what I give, or what I write, or they can stay in their safe space of "normality" and in the past, as it is easy. I know it's hard to learn from history, although I tend to see all we do is repeat it constantly. I hope to soon see change- in many ways. But change is a slow process, that for some is hard to accept and even harder to grasp. "I took the road less traveled by."
